My Cake Smash shoots are the best way to celebrate your little human turning one or two. These milestone birthdays need to be captured!
Cake Smash sessions last up to one hour and are packed full of singing, smiles and scrumptious cake!
The session is Split into three parts, first part of the shoot is a Milestone Photography Session. I take gorgeous images of your little one, all dressed up in their favourite outfit. We sing and dance and play together as I photograph all the smiles and laughter.
Then it’s time for the Cake Smash!

With my cake smash packages i will always encourage setting aside some time to create some beautiful portraits, Before all the fun of oooooey goooey cake and messy play, It's so nice to capture your little ones first mile stone.

After we capture some beautiful images of your little one, we could create a birthday set and let you choose an outfit or you can bring your own and we get down to the Messy play. Do you know the best bit? Is your little one has a blast and you get to oooh and ahh at how cute they are and we clean up!!!!! no mess at all how fab is that??
Good Splashing Fun!
The perfect way to celebrate your baby's first birthday with a messy play session. They get to play while Ashley and I snap away. We start your session with some portrait images which make amazing thank you cards or gifts for family, and memories for you. Before we hand over your professionally made cake for your baby to smash.
Ashley and I have brushed up on our singing and giggling techniques while your baby is encouraged to join in and play.
Its such a fun and special way to celebrate your baby's first birthday and fun you can all be involved in.
The best part of this package is your baby gets clean for the car journey home and they can enjoy messy play Making it the perfect first Birthday treat!

Our Studio is located in Rosyth Business Centre in Rosyth, Just off the M90
with plenty free parking and fully wheelchair assessable making us the perfect
location for fife, Edinburgh, Falkirk and beyond.
Where is your Studio?
Depending on the package / theme chosen we can.... is the easy answer! Our studio is Extremely well stocked and you are welcome to use any of the Tutu's, Dresses, Tops, Dungaree's etc we already have in the studio but we would only buy a specific outfit if you have chosen the Themed cake smash package.
Do you provide outfits?
Due to Childcare and other commitments Ashley and I do not work weekends but on occasion we can so please do ask if a weekend appointment suits your needs best. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 10.30am - 3pm.
There may be an extra charge for weekend appointments to cover childcare fees.
Do you work Weekends?
when I made the packages I looked at cost per set up time, shooting time and editing time and family portraits usually mean a plain background, with the space I have in the studio I don't have enough room for two shooting areas which means id have to change the backgrounds during the session it also means it takes longer to edit etc so we made the decision in 2023 to no longer include family portraits until we move studio and can have more than one set up.
