I was so lucky to meet this beautiful family 2 years ago for Elena’s Cake Smash and they popped back into my little studio at the Rosyth Bussiness Centre recently to capture some newborn and family portraits.

My newborn sessions take place at my studio in Fife, a calm, warm, and nurturing environment. I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be for new parents when they take their baby out to an unfamiliar space so I work hard to make sure that everyone in the family is comfortable and at ease at all times.
Baby safety is my utmost priority throughout all my newborn sessions. As an aside, I always urge anyone looking for a newborn shoot to make sure that the photographer they use is fully trained and well-versed in all aspects of posing safety.
When Nurah and her parents arrived I talked them through the session and introduced them to my assistant, Ashley. It’s so important for me to have an extra pair of hands on the shoot. Ashley is super experienced and so lovely to have around too! She also adores having baby cuddles which are a real perk of the job!

Check reviews… Reviews are usually fairly reliable Ask for recommendations from friends, family, or your local parenting group… they may be able to recommend a photographer they’ve used and loved. Please check out my reviews here and ask any questions before the session as you like, I’m more than happy to jump on Facetime or zoom as well it’s no problem at all.
Look for photographers who have a style that you like, different photographers have different styles… My style is very natural and earthy I love using natural tones but my studio is very well stocked with props and every color you can possibly imagine.
If there is something specific that you would like us to do, we do send you a handy dandy questionnaire that asks you lots of information before your session and lets us all work together to get your perfect gallery, This is about YOU and YOUR family and YOUR vision were just incredibly lucky to create beautiful memories with you <3
